Important Information


If the Premium is not paid within 30 days / 15 days (based on the plan and payment mode) from the due date indicated above the policy will lapse. All premiums and charges are subject to applicable taxes including GST* as per the prevailing tax laws


  • *GST shall comprise of CGST, SGST/UTGST or IGST (whichever is applicable) including cesses and levies, if any. All applicable taxes, cesses and levies, as per prevailing laws, shall be borne by you. GST mentioned above also includes previous pending service tax / GST if any
  • **Net Amount Due mentioned above also includes interest on outstanding loan if any
  • Please pay premium by the due date stated above to avoid late payment interest, premium deposited between 61 days to 180 days from the due date would be subject to late payment interest of <8> % p.a. and at <9.9> % p.a post 180 days
  • Any payout under the policy shall be subject to tax deduction at source (TDS) as per the provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961. In case TDS is applicable,TDS @20% will be deducted from the payouts if PAN is not provided. To update PAN, SMS UPDATEPAN < PAN no > < Policy No > to 5616188
  • Please note that the premium received after six months / three months (based on the plan) of the due date should be supported by a) Health declaration form b) Medicals (as per the sum assured and age of the policyholder)
  • As per IRDAI guidelines, it is mandatory to update your PEP (Politically Exposed Person) status in your policy records. Politically Exposed Person are the individuals who have been entrusted with prominent public functions, for example Heads/ ministers of central /state government, senior politicians, senior government / judicial / military officers, senior executive of state-owned corporations, important political party officials and immediate family member of above persons (spouse, children, parents, siblings, in-laws)
